“If you ever come to the place where you can’t run, then walk. If you can’t walk, then crawl. If you can’t even crawl and you are on the ‘ground,’ and all you can do is look at Christ, then look with all your heart, soul, and mind! That is OKAY to be there. Just never take your eyes away from Christ!” - Article from therebelution.com
Matthew 26:31-35 Then Jesus told them, “This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written:“‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’ But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.” Peter replied, “Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will.” “Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.” But Peter declared, “Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.” And all the other disciples said the same. Is your heart as strong and committed as your words indicate? Many times we have the best of intentions with our words, but our commitment and actions that follow are a mere shadow of what we said we would do, or who we said we would be. Jesus already knew that Peter would deny Him, it was even indicated in scripture that it would happen. In part, this experience would equip Peter for his future service to Christ. Likewise, often times we learn the hardest lessons in the midst of what seems like our worst failures. God can and does use these things for His good.”

17 You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability.
18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. 2 Peter 3:17-18
Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm. Proverbs 13:20
Do not be deceived: "Bad company ruins good morals." 1Corinthians 15:33
We must be so careful who we choose to hang around!! I have heard of people, who seemed to be solid Christians, that were led astray or encouraged to make unwise decisions by the friends they chose to hang around.
We must all heed the warnings of Scripture. They were not written in vain.

"The whole goal of the American dream is to advance ourselves. The whole goal of the Gospel is to deny ourselves. The whole goal of the American dream is to make much of ourselves. The whole goal of the Gospel is to make much of GOD." David Platt
